Afterbangs

so im thinking about buying the afterbangs next year. i spend almost all of my time in the park except for when i go to colorado once a year i was wondering if theses skis would hold up in some powder for about a week every year. thanks plus k for good answers

They work fine for a bit of pow, but probably not the best for anything above the knees. Searchbar for the more info, waayyy too many afterbang threads already.

the only reasons i want them is because they are cheap and im still growing and they are soft and buttery so if anybody knows of another ski that has those things i would love to know

There are far better options for the price. If you are looking for a cheaper ski just buy something from last year. A-bangs are heavy, slow, and not durable at all.

As for the abang discussion, it can go either way, tons of people have them, tons of people love them, and tons of people hate them. Try them yourself, see if they're for you. I have heard they get destroyed fast though.

i wouldnt if i were u. :/ the delaminate easily and theyre heavy, if u want to go with a buttery park ski go for the k2 domains or revivals.

i have abangs, and they hold up pretty well. they work well in a bit of pow, but nothing above knees. they are def a good ski for the money so i'd recommend buying them.

i have them and im quite impressed with the durability. i ski park 3-4 times a week and mine have held up
