Oakley Medusa- Can someone explain?

Ok I saw that oakley was actually producing a leather facemask with predator hair and I have absoluley no Idea why??? Googled it with no answers.

does anybody have some insight on why this thing exists?

ive seen some videos oftanner wearing the over the head glasses but i have yet to evert see any one wearing a medusa.

The Medusa came out in like 2002 or 2003 as a concept-type piece. It was sold online and in their stores, I remember trying one on back in the day. Not too functional, but looked crazy and bionic like Oakley was going for. It came out a year or so after the Overthetop glasses.
