Help needed with ski edges

So i have Ar6s..love them. But some of the edge has burred from rails. ie. The edge has worn down a bit and essentially extended outside its previous widest point. imagine an inverted "T" with the vertical part of that "T" being the ski edge and one side of the 'crossbar' of it being the proper edge. the other side of it is the burred edge. sorry for the complicated explanation but i want to get this right.

so should i file that burr off the edge? i never detuned the edge under the boot. if i should do that, how much should i take off?

ya man just take a file and take off the burr i do it all the time

yep, just use a gummy stone though, it's nicer to your edges

if i take the burr off with it just generate again, thereby losing more of the edge? am i putting myself into a vicious cycle by filing it off, or is it worth it for the sake of control?

Take it off, your gonna be losing that edge material anyway, use a file to knock the bur off then clean it up with a gummy stone.
