Riding Fatties in the East

I'm thinking about getting some ARV's or Scratch BC's. I could always ride the midfat park ski in the east, where i live and ride half the time. but i could really use some new skis and skis for out west without money to buy both. Realistically, would fat twins like ARVs get worked in tight trees at places like Jay and Stowe? Has anybody skiied the woods a lot with fat twins, are they ok?

ski on a fattie, they make park easy and remember when you grind on them the first time they stick a little more than thin skis cause i got worked my first rail with em

^tis true, you need to lean back a little more on sticky rails or else you're fucked. When I first got my motherships I ate it on a lot of rails before I figured it out

well i ride Fujatives, and there fatter then the PE's and the PE's are more all mountain then the fujatives so take that for what you want i guess......

I ride at Smuggs and I've used my dad's Rossi XXX's in the trees. I usually ski on my PE's but my old man skis his XXX's every single day, no matter the conditions. Oh yeah, the XXX's are 178.
