It isn't so much specific words, it is how words are used. For example, Skithedeep is talking about how upset he gets when people misuse a word, yet while talking about how this upsets him, he is doing exactly the same thing. When he says " there was a girl i was in school with k-12 that seemed," he is objectifying her. (insert sexist joke here) When referring to a person, one must use "who" not "that".
Another interesting nuance that tends to stand out to me is the use of "toward" and "towards." Does anyone on here understand the difference? How many of you say "I've got" or "you've got"? That is simply double-stating. Think about it.....I have got a pair of skis. No, you HAVE a pair of skis. There are hundreds of interesting variances in the English language, and to date I have never met a single person who speaks correctly.
