ok so i know that there is literally a million threads on this but I'm a snowboarder and thinking about skiing next year and would probably just stick to park so can someone help me out with what pair of cheap twin tips i should get.

we need a lot more than that. size, weight, what you will be skiing and amounts (50 all mtn, 50 park) and possibly a budget if you have a price range in mind

5'10 130 lbs. And probly just park. And well I probably buy used so 200-275ish. And im kinda interested in afterbangs or something of that sort.

this... ii cant stand seeing kids who can barely make it down the hill trying to do park
and if you actually know how to ski well then it helps with your progression and you will look cleaner with whatever you try

yup. Honestly, try out some rentals for 3-4 times and see if this is something you actually wanna get into. If you like it then check out the B/S/T for some cheap bindings maybe a cheap pair of skis

Wrong. If your going to give shit advice dont give any at all.
Boots are the first and most important thing you shoud buy.
Even if you are renting skis you want boots that fit comfortably.

correct. when first learning to ski worry about boots just as much as the ski. it doesnt necessarily have to be an ultra high performance boot, but it should have a good flex for you and fit well. this may mean spending almost as much or more on your boots as skis, because you will have more buyers remorse if you buy shit boots.

glad someone said this before me. and yes learn to ski before you go in the park. i was using some old rossi race skis as a kid, landing switch and everything before i got actual park skis

yeah same here... just used 100 dollar ski swap skis for 2-3 years and they did the trick for learning park

learn to ski first, don't be cheap on boots, do NOT get abangs (they don't turn and are sllllloooooowww as hell) and again, learn to turn before you learn to jump

as for skis just follow the golden rule: no salomon suspects

For me, boots are whatever. I must have just gotten lucky then. I picked up a cheap pair that felt good on my feet and when i flexed them in the shop.

But listen to these guys: pick up a pair of old delamed invaders in B/S/T, get some shitty rossi kids binding, and get full tilt hot doggers, murdered out c-bars, a first drop suit and vest combo and a couple of jiberish sweatshirts. you will be able to skip the bunny hill with all that steeze. $$$
