Dry Slopes and Water Ramps

I'm only 15 right now so it's kind of irrelevant, but I would love to start up a dry slope and water ramp business somewhere around the capital district in NY. Does anyone know if there is already one in our area and also what the start up cost is. I think it has the potential to be really successful and I would have somewhere close to home to work on skiing in the off-season

Well unless you have at least $500,000 sitting around (and this would be for a small pool with probably only 1 jump), you can say goodbye to starting your own water ramp facility. Plus, you have competition from the facilities in Placid and at Ohio Dreams.
Having a dry slope jib hill isn't as far out of the question, but to make anything legit that is more than just a small backyard setup, you are also going to need a solid chunk of change.
