how about you name where he could compete with a sean pettit. You think ahmet can ski alaska? Maybe in a couple years if he switches his focus, but right now he is in a different genre of skiing. Hitting bc jumps is not the same as competing in a contest such as cold rush and silverton is a whole different world compared to keystones park...

they may be technically proficient enough, but it takes a LOT of time and work to become someone who can look at a line from the base, and then ski it quickly and safely.

it takes "a little" time to learn how to stomp switch in pow, skiing lines is a completely different beast.

this isnt fuckin haines. there are actually jumps in the lines, so lines are dictated already, with some room for creativity. just cuz hes an EC native doiesnt mean he cant ski a line, and i love whenever the bc comes up anyone thats ever been on a fuckin snowmobile comes out of the woodwork to let the rest of us know its impossible unless we are you.

did you even watch the competition last year? there is a jump day, where there are pre-built jumps, then there is a line day, where the ski some heavy shit with no pre-built jumps. and i never said anything was impossible you ignorant dick, i said that it was an art that takes a lot of time and effort to master. i'm not even really comfortable skiing big lines and i grew up skiing in alaska.

and for the record, i never doubted ahmet's skills at all, he's a fucking awesome all-around skier. i was just correcting whoever above said it took "a little work" to become a big mountain skier.

appreciated. and to answer your question no i was unable to find coverage and only saw the jump section online i guess so i did not know there was a portion dedicated strictly to skiing lines. so i guess i would just like to see ahmet hit the jumps, he has some awesome air awareness and makes shit look so easy, i assumed he could do the same off a cliff into pow. ps your eye trip seggy was the tits, respect.
