Make GoPro's more appealing?

Does anyone else think they should make GoPro's more visually appealing? I mean I know it's just a camera but seriously? The color of them make's them look like they are 10 years old for some reason. I think GoPro should make a black GoPro that'd be sick. I think that's one of the only thing's a contour HD really has over a GoPro is it's looks.

Did you read a word at all of what I said? As I stare at the top banner on NS at a GoPro, it just look outdated. I'm just making the suggestion that they make it more attractive looking.

GoPros may not seem physically attractive on the outside, but it's what's on the inside that kind, kind of like women.  I just my GoPro hero had a little screen on the back to show what I've taken.

I'm surprised they haven't introduced every possible colour to their line up or some kind of custom designing tool yet, but at the same time it's kind of their signature look and they're making tons of cash so I don't think it's a big deal yet

They appear to be something you would find at the bottom of a corn pops box. I think a more flat camera would be nice. The go pros feel and look large when it's mounted on a helmet

they are strong, simple to use, and take HD video. the only thing i would want is a brighter colour to spot it easily if it falls in the snow (grey on white doesn't really "pop") but it reality I wouldn't want to pay the extra money just for a nicer colour.

Nah. I enjoy getting weird looks in the lift lines on pow days with mine from gapers. I have been keeping tally of how many people stop to question whats on my head. So far, I am at 10.

what other cameras other then the flip do you see with customizable colors just for shits and giggles? mostly cameras are just black and silver, its a camera not a fashion statement, its what works.

Yeah? GoPro's are good because they're simple? No, they are good because they are a fully high definition camera that cost's much less than any other good camera and they are smaller than your fist. I'm not saying that we need every colour in the rainbow here, the pewter colour just looks like your grandma's first computer from 1986.
