Heres the best advice you'll ever get: Like someone mentioned above, find something metal to bend the brakes out, aka an old ski pole. Take that old ass pair of poles you have laying in the garage or pick some up at a yard sale or something for cheap. Measure to about 6 inches past the grip of the pole and mark it. Use a saw and cut the pole at this spot. You now have a glorious brake bending tool.
Put one end of the brake into the cut pole and slowly bend it outwards. Switch to the other side and repeat. Repeat this process until they are exactly how you want them. And you will for sure have to put some pressure on them to bend them, but make sure you don't put too much and break the brake.
