Mac resale values (mac experts?)

Hey everyone, i have a question.
This up coming thursday apple is sopposed to be releasing their new line of macbook pros. I want to update to a 15inch (from my 13) before i leave for college. In order to do this im going to sell my 13 inch mbp and my parents agreed to pay the difference since i got into my dream school (UofI).
i was hoping maybe someone knew what kind of price i can sell it for, i dont have the original boxes, cds or anything. just the macbook and charger. (bought it from a retarded friend, he didnt steal it, i swear on my life)

they retain their value pretty well, check around ebay and craigslist for prices thats seem reasonable

Probably like 800 bucks, max. Its the weak version of the mac books, if its in great condition you could get around 800. Put it up on NS, someone will buy it.

lol i def know its worth more then 800... like $200+, you can barley find 2.4ghz for 800

What?

Its an old macbook, no dedicated graphics, its not that special. id say 800. this computer is pretty much the same thing, but you can get apple care/warranty and pretty much "new" from apple http://store.apple.com/us/product/FC374LL/A?mco=MTgwOTc3Mjg

also, you have a 13" so the graphics card doesn't have its own dedicated memory, slowing down your computer.
