Good Quality Sequence

I know how to make Sequence's with the vid cam frames, but i wanna do it with a quality digital or slr. my dads into photos so hes got some sik cameras, last year he got the canon 300D which is an ill cam, use that as an example, anybody know how to take like lots of pictures quickly?
Id really appreciate anyone that can give me a clue

im ont sure how it works on that camera but if the camera has a motor drive set it to continious(may look like 3 pictures on top of each other) and just hold down the shutter for as long as you need.

whats the motor drive? is it like the B setting on some old manual where you hold it down for as long as you want? actually no, i think i know wat it is, it takes multiple shots, opening an shutting the camera, rather than leaving the shutter open yeah?

Motor drives can only be used on some canon cameras.
Digital doesn't allow it, as the motor just makes the film move from frame to frame faster. If there is not film to move, then no motor can be used.
