Coaching high school lacrosse

just got the opportunity to coach my old high schools lacrosse team. I graduated in 2008, was part of a dictrict champ team, 4 year varsity starter. I have a bunch of knowledge on the sport, but Ive never been a coach. i was wondering if anyone had any tips for me. for people familiar with lacrosse, i wanted to run a 231 when were being defended man to man, and a 222 and 141 in a zone. ive been an attackman my entire lacrosse career, so my defensive strategies are basically teach the defense what i hated. anything i disliked i feel like will benefit the defense, because ill know what i hated to see. thanks in advance.

On every team I've ever played on slide always comes from crease. never adjacent unless the offense is running an open (no crease) formation.
Also, teach position defense primarily. Let the stick work come naturally.

This means nothing. I've played back east several times in the past few summers and its the same thing.

which is why i said i play strictly offense and may be getting confused. I play college on the east and our offense had 322 offense and our defense slide AJ sometimes and crease sometimes

AJ is just a sketchy slide if your entire D doesn't know whats up. Crease/2 slides are the way to go, especially if you have a confident goalie.

Negative. Ive never worn a visor or worn axe in my life. Only trashy white people do that.

Well while ur dressing like an impoverished black man skiing pow, im in the gym getting bigger and better, in the library, or doing hw. Yes i wear snapbacks and sperrys and polo but i thought thats what upper middle class white people wear, i may be wrong though. No i don't use axe, wear visors, play gamecube or prefer to drink natty.

Nope. My case still stands. You seem like a douche in the eyes of society with your "I'm better than you" talk.

No I would say I have a confident view of my abilities, which makes me more attractive in the eyes of others, which makes me better than you.
