pedals or processor?

i have a processor and i think pedals are better. processors usually dont have a good underfoot feel because theyre mostly a computer. but it also depends on what effects you want. if you want something like a good wah sound, definately go for the pedal. if you want something more techno get a processor. try a bunch out at your local shop.

I'm trying to get the best value I guess, but for sound mostly kind of almost a Strokes sound but I want some delays and stuff too

i agree with killy, personally the type of music i like playing sounds alot better with a pedal, and i just like it better, but it really depends what typre of music you're using it for, and what your personal style is, so i'd say try them both out with a few different songs, then make your choice.

yeah thats some ok stuff, what kind of music are you gonna be playing? i personally dont need pedals, just amp distortion with a footswitch, but that doesnt work for everyone.
