First skis

Hey everyone. im new to newschool cause ive always had race skis,
and now im looking for some new twin tips.

info-
I usually ski at a very very small mountain
50% Park, 50% All mountain
Mostly medium sized jumps, not alot of rails
i love skiing switch

im looking for light, durable, and (medium) stiff skis that i can use 50/50.
And where should i mount on those.
Ive been looking at AR7s. (yes? no? something else?)

my little brother rides ledges and they're a pretty decent all around ski and he spends most of his time out of the park

Armada El rays are a decent all mountain ski. My friend who isnt that into park owns a pair and he says they're perfect for doing whatever

For your first skis it doesn't really matter. Get whatever's cheap in the ski shop but not some total piece of shit. Personally, I'd recommend shorter skis to start because their easier to spin and do general tricks with. As you progress, you'll have a better idea of what kind of skis you want.

I would recommend something along the lines of the Armada El Reys, Bluehouse Mr's, or like you said the Ar7's....because of your racing background, all those skis will carve and provide ample all mtn. capability and are all fairly stiff. I personally have the El Reys and they carve great, (have them mounted center or darn close, you wont regret it.)

agreed this is my first year riding twin tips and i have the volkl ledges they are really durable pretty stiff ski its very enjoyable i think its a great beginner ski. good luck

I got a buddy whose dad has done work for the canyons and can get tix.. I'll have to ask him, not sure how many I could possibly get. How many people need tickets?

I ride K2 Dissorderlys and I have to say they're a really great pair of skis for doing both park features and carving. They have a solid wood inner core and they're somewhat flexible and somewhat stiff. By far the best pair of skis I've had.
