Ok so i just recently purchased a pair of 184 line step ups that have previously been mounted with some rossignol axial bindings. I remounted using the same holes and found that my boots are probably like 5 cm beyond where the "midsole" mark is and probably a cm beyond where it looks like the previous owner had made a mark and I'm not sure what that mark was. So where are Step ups usually mounted and could the mark that is on there be the actually mark for true center?
First of all...Step-Ups are symmetrical...so they should ONLY be mounted at center. Secondly, re-using holes for park skis usually leaded to stripped holes and rip-outs. Get them remounted and you'll be much happier.
