I have the walls - they are very durable, poppy, their top sheet is durable too. They are reasonably stiff so you can hit large kickers.... not a bad ski :)
But then the t- halls are good too. They are armada. They are built in Austria while the walls are now made in China by K2; not that there is a noticeable difference but if you are going to be buying an expensive park ski (which the Walls are), I would prefer to buy something pressed in europe or north america, other than just add to k2's profit margins... My personal preference...
Before anyone says anything, I was given my Walls for free, so I that whole bit about them being pressed in China doesn't really affect me; but if i was putting my down own good money I think I'd go for the armadas.... Armada make a good product... and on a side note my jjs are the best!
Thall's for sure. My favorite ski (never been on either). But I like the AR-50 sidewall and I like the flex pattern of the T-Hall. Also they are very light, and seem sturdy enough to slay any handrail. On the other hand walls are nice too.
Overall both skis are gonna be awesome. Like ^ said, i would want my skis pressed in austria over china but it doesn't make that big of a difference.
i have owned both, t-halls r soft, and dead, ive owned 1st gen volkl walls, they WERE stiff, they redesigned the walls for the 3rd gen and this year, and soften them up a TON, so everyone stop saying the walls r stiff becuase ur fucking dumb, they arent anymore, they r a soft jib/jump symmetrical park ski, and if u cant butter on them, get to the gym and start doing leg workouts...that came off harsh, but its the truth, volkls durability is much better IMO than armadas. Does armada make a great ski? yes, would i buy from them again? sure i would, but if its between the t-hall and wall for a pure park ski, i would go wall no question about it.
