Innerspeaker is probably my favorite album ever. After a good two years of constant listening and it just keeps getting better, truly a work of art and a release, I can almost taste the music even when sober.
Runway, Houses, City, Clouds has got me through such bad mornings for more times than I can count.
I thought they were awesome, until I saw them live, up there with some of the worst performances I've ever seen.
Honestly, they were the one of the most lifeless, out of time, out of tune, dull and painful bands I've ever seen. The drummer was ok, but the rest of the band looked like the didn't realise they were on stage. On record it's fantastic, but not of the atmosphere or energy transferred to the stage.
Ah I went to a concert of theirs in Minneapolis and they closed with Half Glass Full of Wine and it was awesome. Used to be obsessed with this song of theirs
