i donno if you guys have seen this or not but its the new ipod interface system that mini/bmw has come out with for 2011 mini's and coming soon for bmw

Thats cool, but I can use pandora, play my own music and track my acceleration and g force from my phone using my 96 Cherokee with a $60 deck... all they really did was just make is so that your car displays all that on a screen rather than your phone... which I'm pretty sure has already been around in aftermarket equipment for years now.

Hooray, something new and complicated to break so you can get that super cool loaner car for two months out of the year.

ya but its cool how car companies are starting to integrate the two on a more standard level, if the big car companies are moving that way then the market will open up for the app companies and we will see alot more advancements from the application side of things, it will just be interesting to see where it goes

he said its going to be available for all 2011 mini's and be available for bmw's after 3/11, meaning march of 2011 not the year 3011

Lets start by moving the god damn speedometer from the center console. Minis are really lame and slow unless you have the cooper s-then its still really lame and just kindof slow

Cord plugs into phone, music comes out of car. Never a miscommunication.

i can't believe they get away with marketing such a huge distraction. for how much is spent these days on anti-texting-while-driving, anti-eating-while-driving, anti-fiddling-with-stereo, etc, i'm surprised they can do something like this.
