I started skiing the Ghost towards the end of the November, and I've put nearly 70 days on mine. I've toured with them, hit cliffs, jibbed, and worked in them full time. I'm 5' 8", 195lbs, and a pretty aggressive skier.

First, my complaints.
-I came from a Lange Banshee Pro, so the all plastic toe and heel lugs are a bit scary. They wear down, slip on things, and aren't very confidence inspiring for doing a whole lot but clicking in.
-The boot is a retrofited bunch of parts, which means that there's a ton of extra rivets and plastic that don't need to be there. Extra weight is no good in my book.
-This year's Ghost has the moldable shell, but the moldable part is right under the lower buckle attachment; it might not actually do much to flex with your foot.
-Also, the liner is lace up, but the eyes where the cord comes through are just webbing--no plastic, so they're already fraying.
-Lastly, the studs on the booster strap are incredibly stupid.

Here's what I like about the boot.
-The lace up liner is amazing. Super helpful for avoiding shinbang and getting a good fit.
-Two buckles means less to break, less to buckle, and overall less weight with all the clamping power of four.
- The snowguard over the foot portion of the shell overlap is genius. Keeps my feet way drier than previous boots, and you can hike/skin with the lower buckle open.
-Plenty stiff. Salomon says that it's a 130 flex, and I believe it after coming out of 135 Banshee Pros. None of this floppy park boot shit.
-Booster strap is well attached and elastic. Best stock one I've ever used.
-Drives large skis with ease. No problems with long or wide sticks.
-Comfy as hell. Lots of toe room, and a heat moldable liner that accommodates my custom insoles, odd feet. I've never had a boot that felt so good to wear-- I've used it for double shifts, and that meant 16 hours in the boots.

Overall, I'd give them an 8 out of 10. If you can find them for around $350 or less, then go for it. Just make sure they actually fit your feet. 

the Ghost is a great boot, but it is a very low volume boot so keep that in mind.  As said before, the custom shell should help with that a bit.

I have done some of work to my ghost to lower the flex cuz im only 140lbs, so mine has been brought down to about 100-110 flex but it still slays all over the mountain, i have even done amature racing in it cuz it is just so comfy!  GET FOOTBEDS for it, or any new boot!

-the lace up liner is super sweet for a good shin fit

-warm liner

-rubber foot bed

-super durable, but it does have an FIS(all plastic) bottom so get some cat tracks or something to walk around, otherwise you will tear up the bottom
