ok so i have been assigned to find a close friend a pair of skiis to take out to colorado. he has never owned a pair of skiis before, he has rented every time he goes out west since he lives in the iowa flatlands and doesnt need them at home. he is competent going down pretty much any groomed run out west so he isnt just some "gaper" i wanna get him a pair of twinnies because i think he will have a lot more fun on them.. he is around 6'5".. i was thinking a freeride based twin tip ski? maybe a line prophet 186 would suit him well? i dont know a whole lot about skiis other than they they are a hell of a lot of fun to ride
