GoPro pole mount vs. helmet front mount

Ok, well I already have the helmet front mount, and haven't used it, but is it worth it to get a pole mount for filming myself if I already have the other mount?

me and my brother made one of the pole mounts its super easy. just use that black base that it comes in with the box and stick it on the end of a pole with duct tape and zip ties. works fine, used it all day yesterday at keystone

if you're setting out to "film" the pole mount is imho more useful, if you're setting out to shred and not really care about skiing, go for helmet mount !

should i do this or just put one of the adhesive mounts on top of the pole
