Replying to Adobe preimire pro cs4 with a go pro help

So i got all my go pro shots and i was having trouble finding the right project settings that would make the shots not lag and not get that red bar above them. But i can not seem to get the right settings, i tryed 1080i(60) and it gave me a yellow bar above the clip and still lagged. The settings i shot with for the go pro was 30 fps and 1080i soo can CS4 just not handle a go pro or am i doin something wrong?
