Colorado Ski Shop Slopestyle Comp @ Ski Sundown!

Saturday, February 26th Ski Sundown in New Hartford, CT will be hosting Colorado Ski Shop's Slopestyle Competition. With Am and Pro divisions for both Skiers and Snowboarders everyone has their place to compete and prizes for the top 3 in their division. Practice for AMs starts at 9am with the comp beginning at 10am. Practice for the Pro division begins at roughly 12pm (after the AMs finish and a quick course clean-up) and the comp will begin an hour after that. For more info follow the links below.

you pick your division...and it's really "aspiring pros" so kids like Peyton will probably be in the pro division.

Idk about pre registration.. are there a limited amount of spots that will be taken before i get there saturday?

There will be a registration table in the main lodge at Sundown for registration (it's usually right outside the cafeteria/bar).

The course is done, and features the following:

"Big Red" mellow down rail
Step-Up to Butterpad to Step-down
32' Urban Down Rail
35' Step-down at the end

The mountain opens at 8am, practice begins at 9am, get there early so you can preview the course before practice so you can take your speed check runs right at 9 and being really practicing right after that. The park crew is getting there extra early to make sure this rain doesn't hold us back/deteriorate course conditions. Gonna be an awesome time, can't wait to see what get's thrown down!
