Bars in salt lake/park city or Vegas?

Hey yo turning 21 in a few weeks, I'm living in Sandy right now anyone know where it would be cool to celebrate in salt lake or park city,,, or should i do vegas? thanks dudes

it's not that hard to do Vegas on a budget, just hunt around a bit for a good deal on a hotel room and split it with a bunch of people. The drive from slc isn't bad at all, either. Also, if you go with a group of hot girls you might be able to swing free vip into clubs, which usually also means free drinks until midnight. I did a weekend in Vegas for about 200 bucks, which included hotel, food, gas, drinks, etc. Granted, I'm a girl, but still. Vegas over SLC/PC any day. It's not even a question. The fun you will have will be worth the money.

Haa people think its only like that here. Pretty much the exact same in Aspen/Summit County areas of CO, 3.2 in grocery stores. In connecticut you can only buy liquor in liquor stores, and no alcohol what so ever on sundays, sorry. There are others but those are the first 2 I can think of.

But on topic, Main Street in PC can be a lot of fun, but why would you pass up Vegas haha

oregon and washington also only have state run ligor stores.


But i realize this might be a ridiculous question but do they serve hard alcohol in Utah, even if it is in a bar?

Vegas....

All you need to do is find a Fat Tuesdays, spend $9 on the medium size and have 2 shots added... any drinks you get after that are just a bonus.

As far as hotels go... Hooters, look into it. It's quite cheap and at pretty much the best area of the strip. Just don't expect a good pool party in the morning. Walk across the street and go to the MGM grand for their pool. You don't need a key card to get in and they have a delightful bar/restaurant. The pool situation is only relevant if you are going in the spring/summer. Otherwise it's cold there too bring a jacket.

The alcohol content in the beer in Utah is 3.2% (lower than most places), unless you buy it at a liquor store. You can either see it as another ridiculous law against fun, or you can look at that watery beer and say to yourself, Click for larger image

vegas is fuckin gay. spend your 21st birthday shredding with a bottle of jager stashed on the hill then take the shit show back to your pad, pre game, then go out on the town in your home town there is bound to be some band you like somewhere.

make someone else drive since its your birthday and all. and who the fuck cares if last call is at 1? hopefully you are getting up to shred again the next day. fuck i live in alta, last call at the peruvian bar is 845. and 3.2 beer is actually 4.0. and honestly whos that retarded that they cant buy liquor for sunday ahead of time? and 1.5 ounces of liquor, who cares. honestly who isnt packing a flask at the bar anyway? i aint waiting in line and payin 10 bucks for a double drink that costs me $1.50.

its 3.2% by weight wheres as every where else it is measured by volume. 1 utah beer = 2/3 normal beer. hardly a difference in my opinion.
