yo i know theres been a million threads on the line binding BUT i was just wondering if you can rock the line binding without that huge enourmous heavy gay plate that makes that huge homo gap

nope, the plate has a lot of the release mechanisms inside of it, so it's obviously a crutial part of the binding.
