Replying to Another longboard thread...
So, I am here to ask people a certain question about two boards from Bustin Boards, the Maestro and the Strike. I am looking to buy either one of these boards. From reading what they have on the site, I know these are what I am going to want, so DON'T RECOMMEND OTHER COMPANIES OR BOARDS. My question: For those who have either of those two decks, please tell me the pros and cons to them, and for my planned usage (no big hills, slides, commuting on relatively flat ground, and possibly a little skatepark filming for friends) which would probably would be best. I have heard that the strike is really stiff and I would have a little trouble carving on it, but alternatively, with the Maestro, it's really saggy in the middle and will bottom out a lot. And for the Maestro, they have two type of ply for it, 7 and 8.
Even though I am only around 150ish and the 8ply says for 200lbs+, would it be the better choice? +K for good answers and Thanks in advance.
