i just read an article from ski about guys 'skiing' at tuckermans in early august. is there any truth to this? Are there other places besides tuck that hold snow that long? Just wondering

i live in ma and the latest ive been to tucks is the end of july and it was about a football field length of snow. right now theres nill for snow and it sucks. there may be a little in the great gulf wilderness though (northwest ridge of mt washington) but thats about it

since we have such cold winters, im sure one year we're gonna get so much snow we have a glacier in a few spots and then were all so stoked

way up north its still in the 20s but thats way the fuck up there....thatd be sweet if we had soome cold summers and the snow lasted....here its been the coldest summer on record prolly....the high for today was 65 when usually its like 75 80. over the pat 2 years the winters have been colder and more snow abundant

in maine, at mt kahtadin three weeks ago we hiked to the topa nd there was some, quite a bit but not skiable at all.

I was just at tuckermans (just going up on the acess road) and there is like a patch you can see. ^ Killington has never made it to July 4th, its made it till almost the very end of June but never into July
