Holden outerwear

ive never owned any holden, but from what i've seen all the stuff is pretty durable and fits really, really nicely.

I got some Holden pants.
I love them, really comfy, really warm, really durable and pretty waterproof.
I recommend them.

My buddy has a full outerwear setup.
He loves his jackets, it's a heavier jacket.
Can't really say my opinion on his jacket,
I'll lead him into this thread though for ya.

i love my standard pants, but a huge hole ripped open right over the crotch, the stitching got loose and just gave out

lol at tight pants becoming popular.


but on a side note, holden has the best website i have ever seen.

not all of their pants are tight.
I have the manual twill pants, normal fitting pants. or "fitted". I love them, not too tight, not too baggy.

i've got 2 pairs of pants from them, and one jacket, lemme just say the detail that goes into their products is unmatched. I've never gotten wet through my jacket either. and the pow skirt pant zip interface is rad too.

big fan of holden, my jacket and one pair of pants are about 4 seasons old and holding strong, my newer pair of pants are the skinny cut pants. not too stoked on them i will say, they are just a bit too tight for my liking (tough to layer under).

yeah dude, the whole live action shots of the jackets are pretty cool lookin

only their skinny pants are tight if you buy the right size.  their regular fitting pants are definitely a bit slimmer than regular boxy cut ski pants, but they're nowhere close to being tight or restrictive.

This is my jacket. It's made by Holden, I'm not sure of the exact year or model it is, but it's a large and I'm about 5 8.

As for style, I absolutely adore the thing. The colour is very nice, it's got small details like shoulder patches, designs on the buttons, fur on the hood and the material is that type of material that you can see the threads and shit, not that plastic-y stuff that a lot of outerwear is.

In terms of durability/usability, it is only starting to show very minor wear and I've ridden in it 80+ days now. I'm going to go ahead and say if you're looking for something EXTREMELY waterproof, it may not be what your looking for, but I'm from the West Coast and I was always fine there so unless your going through a car wash like the Saga ads, you will be more than fine. It zips into the pants if you want it to, has a powder skirt, thumb gaiters, goggle holder and many pockets.

I have Holden pants and they are the same story.

All in all, I give Holden a 10/10 and would recommend to anyone who is interested.

I have 2 pairs of the standard pant. I absolutely love them except for the durability. I have found that they tear quite easily especially for park riding when you can get tangled, got a lot of small tears which now allow snow in.  I still rate them highly though.

how do you feel about the waterproofing of standard pants? its 10K but do you ever get wet?

I have black holden standard pants, the other day in Are sweden it rained the whole day, my Armada radar jacket soaked thru however my pants stayed dry..

ive had holden a holden jacket and pants for like 5 yrs now..everything works great..so durrable..holds it waterproofness well.. good stuff.. i think i have three of their jackets and two pairs of pants..no problems, except one blown out crotch from nutting a rail.. but otherwise perfect.
