honestly man, apply to bus a restaurant somewhere. its easy shit, youll learn the ropes, and when you get older and more familiar with things you can be a server / bartender. much more money and a more respectable job. that's what i did, and im not gonna lie, being a bartender has it's perks. everyone is your friend, peopel tend to tip well, especially when theyre drunk, and it's easy to do.. you just have to be on your toes all night and go go go. mcdicks is sort of a close-ended job, and not really the crowd you want to associate with in the long run. but, of course, you gotta do what you gotta do. my about 8 years ago my girlfriend's first job was working there, as she just wanted to do something to start earning money. trust me though, if you can pick up some shitty job somewhere that also offers you work your way up the ladder and build a resume, youll be much happier down the road.
but to answer your question a little more directly, being a cashier anywhere sucks. you just deal with peoples' shit all day. people will treat you like you made the fucking menu, too. 'why is that so expensive, why is that this way bla bla blaa'. I DONT FUCKING KNOW, LADY, I DONT CALL THE SHOTS AROUND HERE..
