It has been 4 months since I've had an episode of my illness but it seems as though it is back... :'( in all it's pain and glory. Doctors say I'll need an MRI and possibly surgery to see what's going on in my stomach, for those of you who haven't a clue what's going on, original thread: https://newschoolers.com/ns/mobile/forumread/id/584067/
I've been having gastric problems for the last couple of months too. Haven't gotten around to seeing a doctor yet, since I'm not insured in either of the two countries I split my time between.
Yeah well missing days of highschool Is shitty too :( my sleep last consisted of waking up at 4, drinking water I couldn't keep down, and then listening/ watching my intestines collapse.
Well I live in Canadia so sadly no medical card for teh w33dz~.
But yeah don't take any painkillers on an empty stomach... especially aspirin, it'll screw you over.
that sounds rough, but look on the bright side...at least by cutting you open, they increase the chances of figuring out whats wrong with you, which means they can figure out how to make it go away.
I know shit like that doesn't do much to reassure you when you're the one going under, but just don't think of it as a one off, painful deal. See it as a step towards getting better
Yeah I'm not so much worried about surgery, I'm totally down for it if it helps make me better, its just until then I have to go through the pain :( stomach problems are the most difficult to diagnose too which sucks, but thanks for the vibes man
luckily no cutting open, but they shoved a camera down my throat lol. btw did you have too drink 16 ounces of this barium shit at some point in time? soooo gross
No, I've just been knocked out several times and been on oxycontin.
and you have Chrones you say? my friend has had it for several years and the doctors pretty much told him to smoke weed, it helps him keep his food down and sleep so it seems to help him
god if i actually smoked weed that would be so awesome lol. my bro has torettes so technically he could get medical but my parents wont let him. If i was a pothead i would totally use that as an excuse too smoke. i just down some nyquill for sleep though (Yes i know, not the best idea)
damn dude i remember reading your first thread and felt bad. hope you get better soon thats a real bummer. whoever said it.. weeds actually really good for stomach problems (most problems really, but thats another story) vibes bro, ns is pullin for ya
