Lackluster Bonnaroo Lineup

they've probably only released 1/2 - 2/3 of the lineup. look at the size of it versus the previous years. have faith. true, its mediocre so far. they're probably playing games with your mind like they always do.

Not really. The festival went downhill big time in the last 5 years. Only thing that makes it worth it is living damn close or an awesome lineup.

This lineup is really meh. I went in 09 because there were a lot of bands I like on there. Plus 2 nights of phish right after they started touring again was a big deal. Plenty of good shit despite some shitty vibes.

There are some gems in there for sure but they really could have done a much better job. IT is nice to see both del mccoury and bela fleck in that lineup though. Shit's really lacking on jambands. Arcade fire headlining is as bad as dmb kol last year for me. COuld have gotten a better headliner than eminem.

i dont get why everyone hates DMB, sure they have a large "bro" following, but its not something they can help, at the end of the day all of the musicians in the band are virtuosos, especially carter beauford, and when they jam, they put on a helluva show. but hey thats just my opinion anyway

i present my case....

IT just showed the way the festival had turned. I could survive with one of those bands headlining but having both kol and dmb was too much. It got huge as a festival with all kinds of great music/plenty of jambands. Then they just said fuck you to the jam bands. I doubt I'll ever go back to the farm. 09 was my last roo.

I don't really see it happening. Was shocked to see how bad the lineup was last year. Everybody was saying how it was going to be so much better this year for the 10th year anniversary. Didn't happen. Didn't deliver at all.

A fest that started out strong, grew, and then musically died.

i thought last years line up was pretty awesome, Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, DMB, the flaming lips playing the dark side of the moon, kid cudi, deadmau5, bassnectar, kings of leon, weezer, nas and damian marley, LCD Soundsystem, The Black Keys, the disco biscuits, jeff beck, i mean it was a pretty badass festival

and the Bro's arent the real fans anyways. Real fans hate the bro's as much as NS does.

Naver been a huge jay z fan but cool whatever. Stevie wonder would have been fucking sick, I mean where the fuck are you gonna see stevie wonder. Bonnaroo went with some dumb fucking youtube broudcatst instead of iclips. They didn't even fucking broudcast stevie wonder. Shitty deal. Dmb whatever. Flaming lips seen em once seen it all, can't remember how dotm turned out. Could probably see the next 3 at camp bisco. KOl, who gives a fuck. Weezer, who gives a fuck at this point(was good at one point) nas and damien, saw them at moe.down for a 90 ticket and a way more chill fest. LCD Soundsystem, plenty of fests no biggie. The black keys, saw them at moe.down for the second time cheap ticket cooler people. Disco biscuits, meh but camp bisco and I can get down to them sometimes(just hate the flatbrim bisco kids sometimes) Jeff beck would be sick.


Idk there just isn't enough that I couldn't get at other fests or see somewhere else that can make me justify the trip. 09 was real good. Fest had been on the decline but still real good time despite all. Fine with that being the end of my trips to the farm.

Bunk drugs, noobs, and bros. With the sun being 8 thousand degrees, i need a real legit lineup to get me back another year. Probably won't happen. Whatever. Still have some sick memories there.

yeah i can understand that, its just the closest festival to me, and the line up was awesome for me, plus we brought our own, not bunk drugs lolol, but this year im thinking allgood instead of roo but i dont know yet

regardless of the line up bonaroo is tight as fuck. spunions all over the place cheesing mad hard
