Is Dubstep getting more popular as time goes on? Y/N

Do you think that this type of music is starting to go mainstream? I don't know about you guys but it seems that every time i turn around someone new is starting to listen to it or starting to go to their first rave and dropping some MDMA. Although raving should never be something that everyone does, i must say it is such a good EXPERIENCE!

yes, everyone at my school thinks they know what dubstep is and they obsess over it.. fucking annoying, whatever.

Its not cool to obsess over dubstep. but it is something youll never know about until you go to a true rave man, i agree its not something you want to make into a hobby, but occasionally is not a problem.

its growing inthe music industry for sure. Everyone has heard of it, some people listen to it to fit in and some people because of the incredible musicians behind it.

I prefer Electro House. Call me crazy, but 128bpm makes sense to me.

If you're gonna go that slow, input more beats and make it Drum & Bass. At least then it'll make me feel like racing.

But it's like that one song said, "I hear people saying what style they like they like it trippy they like it techy they like it minimal, but what they forget that at the end of the day, it's all house music! (house music repeats and echos)"

ITS MUSIC PEOPLE. Who cares if they like it or not, as long as you enjoy it then who gives a fuck. Personally I could care less if some one judges me by the music I listen to, as long as I enjoy it then thats all that matters. The people who say I fucking hate it when people start listening to dubstep even though I like it are stupid. Listen to your self, your jealous that more and more people are starting to enjoy your genre of music which is flat out retarded... Its the other way around for me, I love it when people like dupstep because then we can connect about something we both enjoy. Kinda like how we all go on NS, cause we all enjoy skiing. So stop being fucking over dramatic, its annoying.

when did dubstep become cool in the US? like what triggered it? anything specific? ive been in canada since august and i just got back here at christmas. dub was NOTHING in the US when i left last summer and now its a lot bigger all of the sudden. any ideas about what happened? IE specific artists?

the funny thing is i learned what dubstep is and grew to like it in canada. i still havent been to a dub show in the US and i kind of dread going to one here, cause i know it wont be as awesome as canada....
