Study abroad: Australia vs New Zealand

I can't decide between the two. I was wondering if anyone had any idea on which might be better. Skiing is not the number 1 priority, i just want something to always do. I like the scenery in New Zealand, but idk if scenery can get me through 6 months. My major is chemistry, so if there are any good chem schools you know of, let me know.
-Thanks!

New Zealand is just like Australia, but better.
I'll elaborate - you can hop in a car in NZ and be somewhere totally different in 3 hours. You can drive for 3 hours in Australia and still have the same scenery.
If you think you might get bored in a new country in 6 months, then good luck to you where ever go!
I'm not sure about chemistry, I tried a 100 level biochem paper at Otago and failed haha so I'm not the person to answer that question. I think most universities have decent science schools though.
