Is there any difference between MX goggles and skiing goggles?

i want o frames but found the MX ones for cheaper and look exactly the same. is there any real difference? and yes i know this might be a stupid question

I belive that MX goggle lenses are only a single layer, and snow are double. don't quote me on that though

most of them yes, and the straps are quite a bit bigger from what ive found

also, MX goggles usually have the studs for tear offs (plastic sheets you can pull off when they get dirty)
