Lift Lines At Park City

Just wondering how bad the lines are at PC compared to a mountain like Breck.

weekdays are awesome. this past weekend was a clusterfuck, even moreso than sundance weekend.

Its sometimes dead during the week and at night. Only on holidays and weekends is when they get kind of out of control. God forbid holidays on weekends though. Such a fucking zoo.

I wouldn't know. But what gets me is that ski school gets there own lines even on busy days. It should be a sole thing to teach to greenhorns in skiing that waiting in lift lines is something that all skiers do.

You forgot to mention parking too. Parking is a bitch. I am sure breck has large parking areas. I think PC's needs to be larger. It was fucking rediculous this past weekend.

Stay away from jup on a powder day, usually thaynes is not crowded at all and had sooner good trees off there. Mcckonkeys is never really crowded either, just stay awaya from the base from 10 to 2 and your good

Jup isn't all that bad if you get up there ASAP right as the lifts open. Or if you know the whereabouts of hidden treasures. Oh and stay out of the trees in mcconkeys. Enraged mooses live there.

Yeah i was skiing west face and was going through the flat area at the bottom and saw a moose and its calfs, i was pretty scared. I also heard a moose charged a couple people over in the thaynes trees area.

3 kings is pretty much the only lift I ride, it's only crowded on saturdays.

well breck is one of the most crowded mountains i've ever skied and PC is only semi crowded on Saturdays so....

False, my home mountain, regularly has 30-45 minute lines. Breck is like child's play compared to that.

On a pow day at Mad Rive Glen, you can easily wait for 45+ minutes, at Breck it's like what, 15 minutes max.

Cool. Im skiing Brighton all this week, then thursday-Monday, PC, Alta, Who knows, Canyons maybe, Brighton again? If it snows, then Alta, or Brighton, those areas looked like the tits, if its Sunny, PC or Canyons, fuck, even Brighton again that place is fuckiiing Sickular!

When i was at Breck last year the thing that really got to me was the scanning of peoples passes. I had to wait in line to get me pass scanned, then go wait in the line for the lift.

Any holiday weekend you will stand for about 1 hour if you're at the bottom of peak 8.

B. Easier Lift Access than say... Canyons

C. More parking than the say... Canyons


Im content with it... however I've only skied one saturday

Jupiter on a powder day, holiday weekend, after the lift opened late at 11 due to avy control. It was awful. Waited for an hour, would have left but couldn't get out of the line. It was awful.

i work at park city as a lifty at payday and the only times we are super busy is saturdays and hoildays other than that everybody is spaced out on the mtn.

He had no poles and he was kind of struggling seeing as the lift line was positioned kind of on a sloped surface causing him to have a hard time to not slide around which is kind of why she got pissed at him haha.
