how to set up my summer rail

i just got done building my summer rail, its double pvc style. whats the best way to hit it? should i dig it into the ground? we have one of those factor x jump ramps, so what should we use as the surface to slide on? thanks

if possible astro turf is your best bet, if not, what i would do is get a tarp, put some sort of mat under it and lay it on a set of stairs and wet it w/ soap and water, that should do it.

i think you shoud set that up with as an up kink first of all. then make a 5' gap off the end to tramp. then make a gap off the tramp to a down slope about anothet 5'. just make sure to duck tape your edges and viola; you have up kink to tramp to gap. now how many people have that? you would be the first and you could post all the harsh yardsales for us to laugh at.

hey where do u live, i ski at mt brighton too and i might just stop by sometime when ur not home and hit that shit up. me and my friends are tryin to make a summer rail but astroturf is so damn expensive

You're skiboarding with poles and skiing without... if you were on a mountain, all these kids would be eating you alive right now. Nice setup you have... the runup looks sweet. Rail's a bit short, but in the backyard, it can't be that long, I guess.

jd may, the second pic the poles dont show up because the shutter speed was too slow. and in the first pic has line started making a skiboard model of the 1260? im pretty sure they havent... we got the astro turf free from my friends dads work, so i dunno how mcuh it costs.

two ice rinks in my area, one is fucking HUGE, and i called them and they dont say shit about snow anywhere, what the fuck
