g4 ibook

yo im thinkin of getting the g4 12' ibook. (the bottom of the range one). i have to use them at college coz i do media. i have used them before but not on the net. Will it be fast on the net. I have broadband and a shit pc at the moment so i'm wondering if it will be as fast? Any comments will be great. THANKS

duh. i'm going to RIT, and they have custom machines with gigabit ethernet.... (thats 1000BaseT)

what he was saying is it has a conection speed of 1 gig, which is how much information can be passed thru over the internet within 1 sec.

G4s are pretty damn good, but the power book is better than the I book. trust me, I have both. But the I book has a better and longer lasting battery.

ibook will do that just fine..i have a powerbook w/c i would prefer..but ibook is definitely gonna be a lot more reasonable.
