Getting passed Exit Fire doors without setting alarm off?

So did some google searching which turned up nothing. But I was wondering if any of you knew how to get through those alarmed fire exit doors. They say "fire exit door, alarm will sound when pressed wait 15 seconds before door opens."
We're on the inside of the door trying to get to the outside. I'm not trying to cut things open or cut wires or anything just if theres any like credit card tricks? or anything? We spend a shit ton of time until the wee hours of the morning in studio working on projects and it'd be cool if we could find a way to get to the roof to chill.
Someone opened the lower door earlier this week which set off the alarm which we aren't sure whether it notifies anyone (like public safety) it just rang for a while. I was thinking maybe pop the downstairs door and figuring out a way to set the upstairs door so it won't set the alarm off once the lower door is set off?
If anyone has got any ideas or heard any stories about friends finding a way through thatd be dope. Thanks.

figure out how the mechanism works. like if you open the door and something on the top moving out of place triggers the alarm, then keep it in... thats hard to explain.
you know how when you open the door to a refrigerator, the light goes on as that little piece of plastic comes down? then when you close the door it pushes the plastic back up into the fridge and the light goes off. if it works like that, try keeping the equivalent of the little plastic thing in.
i'm thinking the way it's activated is by some physical means, like it's not an electromagnet or something in case the power is out. if is then i guess you can't do anything about it. unless you make an electromagnet.

yeah im sure there's just some kind of pin or trigger that gets released when the door opens. make it so it stays compressed and you're good. you'll just have to open the door once and set off the alarm

you actually have to keep the pine/switch out. because when you open the door it gets pushed in.
sooo if i was you i would just push it open and hope it doesnt go off.
that said, how late is it there? you make it seem like you put in a 25 hour day...

If it is electromagnetic, put a small magnet on the sensor, so it registers as closed. I used to do this to sneak out without making my house alarm chime. Works well

most of the time those doors don't even have an alarm and the sign is just their to scare you off. try it.

thanks everyone I'll give a few of those ideas a try. +k
We're in studio for class for 4 hours every monday wednesday and friday, and every night in between for 8ish hours to get ready for class the next day. We spend plenty all nighters there so it'd be fun to take a break for a little and relax with a dope view of boston. getting your mind off the work for a little bit every so often is absolutely necessary or you'll go insane haha.

All doors are probably different but I was able to get through most without setting them off. Sometimes theres a tricky one you set it off and just hope people don't get pissed about it.
