Well before you sound like a jerk remember there are many names for tricks.

As for the tipstand, I think its a tipstand when its sustained via poles. People do these at the bottom of runs mostly.

A noseblock is done more in the middle of runs or as an actual trick. You pop up using just your legs on a sloped surface (side of a landing) and are done with a grab. Garret Russel does these.

you are wrong about a frontside switchup to frontside 270. that is not pretzel. pretzel is spinning 270 or more degrees on to a rail or box, and spinning 270 degrees or more in the opposite direction off or during the rail. the definition varies from person to person, but that's basically what it is.

OP is thinking of what i, my friends, and everybody i know calls a frontside frontside.

so frontside frontside 2, 4, 6 or whatever.

A Pretzel is anytime you change spinning directions during a trick so anything frontside to frontside or blindside blindside are both pretzels. Spinning on one way and off the other is the most popular but not the only.

pretzel has nothing to do with getting onto the rail. its a FS switch up, FS 270 out.

As opposed to a hellen keller which is a BS switch up, BS 270 out. And then there are the variations of a K-Fed (FS switch up, BS 270 out) and the last one i cant remember.

A pretzel is still a pretzel if they spin onto the rail. eg. 270 on, FS, FS 270 out.

i think you missed the point. obviously you have to 90 to get onto the rail. then its a FS switch up and a FS 270 out.

you dont have to spin on. you are wrong. however your right on the second part

however, i always thought that blind swap blind 2 was ray charles, ive never heard it called a hellen keller. blind swap front 2 is ray fed, front swap blind 2 is k-fed, front swap front 2 i've never heard a consistent name for. and its a noseblock to answer the other question

No. It's called a prtzl when you spin in one direction, and then the opposite. And yes, a fs sw up is a spin, hence a fs sw up to fs 270 out is a prtzl.

Jesus fucking christ. This is a prime example of why NS is sucking more and more these days. Kid makes a thread curious to know what a trick name is and other posters proceed to hate on him. Cut him some fucking slack. Hes not nessiceraly an expert on tricks or their names and he hasn't been park skiing as long as us. Oh and posting pictures of him that hes stoked on and ripping on them is a pretty low thing to do.
