I have been nursing a shoulder injury for years. It didn't even come from skiing, it was weightlifting that killed me.
People argue that a shoulder injury can be worse than a knee because of its overall range of motion. Anytime you start messing with the rotator cuff, you're looking at a long recovery. What's most important is to try and strengthen the rotator. Talk to your local shoulder specialist and they'll probably put you on a light rubber band workout. Take your time homie
