Most Epic Movie Deaths

I just finished watching Gladiator and I would have to say that Maximus Decimus Meridius' death is one of the most epic movie deaths i have ever seen.

Another good one is Chris McCandless's death in Into the Wild. Both of these scenes are super powerful, and all in all, incredibly epic.

What are your most epic movie deaths? Posting videos of the scene would be cool, but it wont be the same for anyone else if you havent just watched the whole movie.

well if you take a look at the rest of the movie leading up to it:

he donates his life savings to charity, leaves everyone and everything he has to live in alaska, meets tons of people who change his life on the way, lives in alaska, alone, in the wild, then realizes that he misses the people in his life and wants to go home. he is waiting for the river to stop flooding, so he can return home and dies a few days before he plans to leave.

pretty epic.

THE ENDING OF THE MOVIE "HEAT"

blows me away every time, but if you have never seen the movie then don't watch this, because you have to watch the whole movie and learn about these pacinos and deniros characters to get the full significance of this scene and how fucking amazing it is.
