Belanger Pro vs. Armada ar5 (03)(the green ones)

If anyone has riden any of them i dont know what one to get, and i know the belangers are just TMs with differant graphics, i like them both what one should i get?

i'm thinking of getting the belangers next season, i love the tms, but 175 was too long last year. i'm just worried about the edges. what he said, if you're doing rails, get the armadas.

Get the Belangers, they might have fixed that, besides you can always have new edges put on at a descent ski shop.

Chris: But I heard that in tanning booths you can get something called Melenoma

dynastar makes good skis, except the edges fall off.


ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

why does it matter if edges fall off??...it just makes them better on rails...any good skier can still rip on them without edges

Dynastar has been around longer than Armada so I'd be more apt to trust Dynastar.

I own a pair of Armada Ar5's. they're such a solid ski, with the perfect amount of flex amd edge. Plus they have like a life time warranty, they fall apart= u get brand new skis

My friend told me he heard the Armadas are sick for no particular reason.

Armada will have fixed the topsheet problems and aren't the belangers the same as the TM's w/ different graphics, so the Belangers will not be as durable. In the end go with what you want

word from dynastar was that they improved the construction quality from the TM's to the 3 phils models. also the 03 armada's have just as many problems(topsheet and base problems). so you looking at 1 poorly constructed ski and one that says its improved from last year. go for whatever i would stop buying for trends tho and get a ski and is constructed well and isn't just the 'cool' skis to ride.

hey dreb, your 'bickering' will actually help me find a ski. I to am interested in the belanger's but dont have the liberty to demo a bunch of skis, the AR5 being one of them. so if i can hear the opinions and testimonies from people on here who have used them, it helps me to make my decision.

i hate it when people just use the basic answer of 'just go out and demo them' or 'dont listen to the people on here, think for yourself'
