Replying to My idea for a tattoo

I see way too many people that get tattoos for no reason. I strongly believe that every tattoo you get needs a story behind it. I'm not putting permanent ink on my body unless it has meaning behind it.

My idea for a tattoo is to start out with just my initials. Then at random times in my life, whenever I feel it's necessary, I want to add something around those initials representing a chapter in my life. By the time I'm done, I want to have a wheel of pictures or phrases around my initial. Each picture or phrase will be something that I feel is significant to that time period in my life. Thoughts?
