My idea for a tattoo

I see way too many people that get tattoos for no reason. I strongly believe that every tattoo you get needs a story behind it. I'm not putting permanent ink on my body unless it has meaning behind it.

My idea for a tattoo is to start out with just my initials. Then at random times in my life, whenever I feel it's necessary, I want to add something around those initials representing a chapter in my life. By the time I'm done, I want to have a wheel of pictures or phrases around my initial. Each picture or phrase will be something that I feel is significant to that time period in my life. Thoughts?

where are you going to put it? You would probably run out of space if it was anywhere except your back, but then you wouldn't be able to see it :(

Benjamin Franklin flying a kite getting electrocuted (with X's in his eyes)in a snow globe with a storm and lightning over top. Then the snow globe is tipped on the side and cracked because a black caddillac escalde with tinted windows is crashing into it. In the back of the esclade the liftgate is open and there is a Mexican lady giving birth to a pig. The pig is coming out of her vagina. You see the pigs ass and the pig is taking a shit on top Mexico...... representing I survived swine flu in the time of electricity.

Why the fuck would you get your initials?
To help remember your name?
Or for when you die?

Personally I think it would turn into a clusterfuck of pictures, but diff artists, with diff styles, etc


Get individual tattoos that relate to things that you believe in.

Those are the best. Along with the fact that you should pick an art style, and generally stick with it.
