Replying to Griffon change?

So I bought some used griffons on here last week, and after I mounted them up, I noticed that they are different from 09/10 griffons I have on my AR6s. The heel base plate is a ton thicker and longer, and the bottom of the toe piece is taller and more burly. Also, sections where plastic is cut out on the 09/10 ones is fully filled in on the new ones. There is a bunch of vertical play in the toe piece, and my SPK moves up and down at least 5mm or more. Did the griffons change from last year to this year, or are my bindings messed up? Also, how can I get rid of that movement? huge +k for answers, thanks.
