unfortunately most of the revolutions in the middle east region (yes, I know egypt is africa...thats why i said region...) begin like this, but don't always end up with what the people want.

It's going to be very interesting to see where this goes from here...

yes, of course, the us gives them all the cool toys to play with. the people want freedom and democracy, which in that part of the world also translates to being independent and free of being a USA lap dog. if a government comes in that is hostile to the usa, then the egyptian military is going to suffer because the usa will stop sending replacement parts and equipment upgrades. deliberately making their military a non issue compared to israels.

like i said, it starts to get interesting now and the military is going to have to play politics to prove that usa arms support is a good thing for the security of their country.
