Cork 3's

So ive got 3's on lock and I want to lear how to cork three, what size jump and techinque should i use to learn them?

probably at least 30 feet. ///////////////////////////carve hard off the lip. Learning cork sevens is way easier though.

generally the population progresses on their on terms.
if youre comfortable in the air with threes, start carving off the lip of the jump and letting the carve set your spin. once youre able to carve threes off any jump, start dipping your shoulder (left shoulder if you spin left, right shoulder if you spin right) and that should set you into the cork.
spot your landing as it comes around and put your feet down.

if youre able to carve a three off the jump comfortably, youll be able to cork three.

3 to cork 3 seems like a terrible idea. Definitely go with the cork 7's first

I'm curious why everyone says the bigger cork spins are easier than 3's. I am dialed on 5's and working on 7's but haven't tried to go off axis much......

Larger cork spins take less control. Trust me cork 7's are wayyy easier to learn then cork 3's.

I think a big part of whether or not certain tricks are easy is a very personal thing.  Skiing is hugely mental.  The ease of each trick is how you conceptualize it in your mind and everyone conceptualizes things differently.  If you think you can do a cork 3 and the confidence is there, go ahead and try it.  If you are not confident and can't visualize it, don't try it.

One thing's for certain: the sooner you start trying any trick, the sooner you'll figure it out.

Start with handdrag 3s and then slowly skip the handdragging.
