Do airbags break skis?

i've heard water ramps do..do air bags? i'm going this weekend and im wondering if i should use my good skis or my beater ones. the problem is my beater skis have griffons, and i feel like they'll explode under too much airbag stress. thought i'd ask.

i skied about 6 days or so on water ramps on my ar6s two yearts ago and skiied a whole nother season afterwards . they were fine . and as for bag jumps, your fine.

Personally i dont know but some of my friends have been on them and they said it didnt do any harm

My skis were fine as well as many other kids this summer, but my roommates FKS did pull out.

i pulled out a pair on bindings. And edges cant get dinged pretty bad from the other pair of skiis

MAKE SURE you don't have broken edges poking out, because when i went to gunstock they were checking skis and turned someone away because his skis were trashed from rails.

will tehy care if you're missing a chunk of edge but its not poking out? cause my beater skis are missing like an inch, but theres no like sharp parts poking out... haha i guess i better bring both pairs. my nice skis have FKS though, but its probably a coincidence that kid pulled his out. idk.

the last time we used an airbag a friend of mine snapped the back of her ski, just behind the binding. i think she did a quarter of a backflip and the ski went straight into the bag but i suspect the ski was already damaged. it wasnt a twin tip so it wasnt designed to flex and handle that sort of impact either. id say in general an airbag is absolutely and completely safe for skis.

just wanna address this:

FKSs are amazing bindings. besides the brakes sometimes being a little bit of a bitch, they hold up like no other bindings i have ever heard of. they are burly, use a lot of metal, and are safe, as the rotating heel gives a twist release from not only the toe, but heel as well.

bindings pulling out has everything to do with the ski and the way the bindings were mounted, and nothing to do with the model of binding.
