Okafor Already on Dream Team

Emeka Okafor was already invited to play for the dream team, and he hasnt even played in the NBA yet. This pisses me off when he hasnt even been tested at a pro level yet and they are sending him to the olympics.

okafor was sick in college as a center...but in the NBA he is gonna be a power forward...he wont be able to go against guys like garnett and webber

Ya, They should be picking more expirianced veterns than okafor. I dont know exactly who is on the team this year, but I know that there are some players that didn't make it that could easily beat out okafor, with way more expiriance too.

The olympics were originally intended to showcase amateurs anyway.

Show me another person that they could of picked besides him that wouldnt of pussied out... So for now Okafor is the best option they have to fill those last couple spots... Also dont expect him to play much...

i think they should still send ams... that way when serbia beats us, it wont be so embarrasing... but really, they should just send college kids who will really appreciate it before they get all rich and jaded by the nba
